Paper 1 (30 hours)

  • Theoretical perspectives on language acquisition and language teaching.
  • Different approaches and methodologies including current developments

(30 hours)

  • Language systems and learners’ linguistic problems.
  • Language skills and learners’ problems.

(20 hours)

  • Knowledge of resources, materials, and reference sources for language learning.
  • Key concepts and terminology related to assessment.

Schedule

The course lasts 8 weeks. It consists of 16 classes of 2.5 hours each, for a total of 40 academic hours.

Saturdays

4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Sundays

9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Requirements

Minimum level required: B2 (consolidated)

Course Conditions

  • English Tech may cancel classes if the minimum required enrolment has not been reached.
  • Refunds will be issued within 7 business days as of the class cancellation.
